Neptune-dominant People
Neptune is the God of the Sea known for its illusiveness, creativity, spirituality, and endless compassion. Just like we can’t see, fathom or even fully explore the depths of the ocean, Neptune himself is partially incomprehensible. Neptune brings with it waves of fantasy and illusion as we dream about the unchartered waters that cover over 70% of Earth’s surface.
Neptune-dominant people elicit these same responses. They embody a sort of mysticism and mirage all in one. Many celebrities, artists, and scam artists have a strong Neptune in their charts. They have the ability to capture magic in a bottle and help others see what they want them to see.
People will tend to project onto Neptune people as well. Just like you’ve never met a celebrity but feel like you know them, projection occurs where people may think they know a Neptune person without even scratching the surface. They can often portray a certain glimmer and glamour because of this.

Sometimes Neptune-dominant people will facilitate false images by lying to others and creating confusion. This is when Neptune is out of balance and lost in its own reality. They often become a victim of their deception by fully buying into their own lies. While at times it may be ill-intentioned, the downside of a Neptune-dominant person is that they may be unable to see objective truth from their perceived truth. They can get caught up in an ideal version of life where problems “aren’t a big deal” or straight up don’t exist.
This often stems from the fact that Neptune-dominant people are extremely sensitive. They are very empathetic, intuitive, and universally loving. They are some of the most compassionate feelers of the zodiac. This means the harshness of reality can be overwhelming for them, so they may cope by ignoring issues, lying to themselves, or escaping reality in some way.
Neptune-dominant people can escape life through healthy means or through self-destruction. Some people will make their life about others, becoming a “fixer” or someone’s “savior”, or sacrifice themselves for the well-being of others, becoming the “martyr”. Others will turn to substances or other addictions – hours and hours of reading or TV a day, a couple bottles of wine, a pill or two.

The healthy ones will turn to spirituality and artistic inspiration to express their emotional, watery depths. Some of the most creative, imaginative people have Neptune prominently placed in their chart. Consider Walt Disney who has Neptune on his Midheaven (Career line). He’s created some of the most iconic and boundary-breaking universes for people to experience first hand.
The key is for Neptune-dominant people to learn how to ride the line of being in their safe, spiritual void and the world of concrete reality. How can they be on Earth while also being extremely psychic, sensitive, and in touch with all the energies around them? This is the battle. Finding productive outlets that allow them to channel these energies is essential for a stable life.
As I mentioned, Neptune is both psychic and sensitive to energy and substances. These individuals are usually overwhelmed by strong doses of medicine and can feel even just a glass of wine. Because of this, they need to be extra careful about their environment and the toxins they are exposed to.
This also pertains to energetic toxins as well. They do not do well in harsh environments, around rude or callous people, or with people who will take advantage of their sometimes naive and innocent nature. They are known to often take on the emotions of those around them as well so time and space alone to self-regulate is key.

Neptune-dominant people are porous both physically and psychically so they will often struggle with boundaries just as they do toxins. Instead of having to say “no” to others and detect when they’re being walked all over, it’s easiest for them to have a tight filter that will help them be cautious during the initial stages of founding a friendship.
To capitalize on their superpower of sensitivity, they would do best in careers that involve spiritual work where they can heal others or acting/writing/artistry where they can express their fantasies and idealizations. Neptune is strongest in the sign of Pisces, a sign that also enjoys these forms of expression.
Overall, Neptune-dominant people are the Jesus’s of this world. They are full of unconditional love, understanding, and eternal compassion. Without them, the world would be a much darker, less inspired place to be. Once they learn how to balance the darkness of dense matter with the lightness of the spiritual body, they will discover the secret to sustained bliss.
